I didn’t get much of a break today, except for a few minutes at lunch, so I haven’t had much time to digest the elections nor any of the following news. But wow. What a mess the United States is in.

Democrats won the house, which finally may provide oversight and an actual check on the crazy President. There were so many groundbreaking candidates elected to positions of power. So… why does it feel so “meh?”

Then, the steady stream of bullshit diversions from the White House came today. It felt almost desperate. Trump is like a wounded animal lashing out at anyone who disagrees or that be perceived as a threat.

Ugh. I fell asleep after that last sentence for quite a while… finally Annika woke me up, seeing that I was asleep but with my phone still on (I’m writing on my phone today). I’m going to bed. I don’t even remember what I was writing.
