Yeah, I’m getting a cold. I’m exhausted and my throat hurts and I might be even a little feverish (or I was). Gross.

Perry has been sick for a few days. He started throwing up a couple mornings ago, and threw up for a couple days. He’s started being hungry again today, but I’m worried still. He went to the vet today, where they checked his blood, gave him some hydration because he hasn’t been drinking, and checked him out. He has a low fever too.

The vet gave us antibiotics to give Perry and some probiotics to help keep his intestines in working order. I was kind of annoyed with the immediate assumption that they should give antibiotics, since we clearly over use them in our society. Also I don’t want to deal with the potential doggy diarrhea.

I’m pretty exhausted from being sick. Perry is too. We’re going to snuggle down and go to sleep.
