Annika and I had a great dance party tonight. It started out with just the radio, but then we progressed into dance music on Amazon music, which led to disco, which everyone “hates” but it’s super fun to dance to. Diana Ross and Lipps, Inc. made the night a little better and I needed the exercise.

Today I finished a bunch of grading faster than I expected, and so that was something to celebrate. I am actually pretty much caught up in one class, which is a big deal since I’m teaching four writing classes. It won’t last for long, but it feels good to be there.

I wish I had a more thoughtful ending to this. Truth is, I’m kind of dizzy and tired and I just want to go to sleep.

Maybe some days it’s a victory just to follow through. I don’t have to be perfect every time I write, but I did it. Maybe that’s enough.
